Annual Meeting at Oceanside HQ

On the night of Thursday, December 19th, 2024, the Fire Chiefs Council of Nassau County held their meeting at Oceanside Fire Dept. HQ.

Father Christopher Costigan performed the opening and closing prayers for the meeting. Oceanside Ex-Chief and former FASNY President Steven Klein swore in the Fire Chiefs Council’s new board including its new president – Thomas Pellegrino [also an Ex-Chief of the Oceanside Fire Dept.].

Among those in attendance were the Chiefs of the Uniondale Fire Dept. who made a presentation to Jean Laurent – the outgoing President of the Fire Chiefs Council.

Serving with President Pellegrino for the next two years will be First VP Karen Bendel, Second VP Brian Nolan, Sergeant at Arms John Bartunek, Financial Secretary Tony Tripp, Treasurer Roy Dahlen, and Secretary Richard Messina.
