100th Anniversary Gala

The Fire Chiefs Council of Nassau County held their 100th anniversary gala on the night of Wednesday, September 16th, 2026, at the Crescent Beach Club in Bayville.

During the evening there was a short program which had opening and closing prayers by Father Christopher Costigan, East Rockaway Ex-Chief Christopher Shelton as the Master of Ceremonies and a few words by President Thomas Pellegrino of the Oceanside Fire Department.

For a century the Council has been working with and supporting the Chiefs of Nassau County’s Fire Departments to better the fire service through “the use of educational programs, leadership counseling, and research.” Congratulations to the Fire Chiefs Council of Nassau County on achieving a century of service.
