Welcome to the Nassau County Fire Chiefs Council

The mission of the organization shall be to promote leadership, safety, the science of fire prevention, firefighting and the saving of life and property, as well as to support legislation for the enhancement of fire prevention and protection and other similar objectives in the fire service as may be deemed by the council. This will be achieved through the use of educational programs; leadership counseling; and research amongst, and in cooperation with, the member departments in Nassau County, New York.
